History

Plus PM History

In line with changing times, Plus PM continues to change always keeping in mind how we provide services and technologies needed in society. The highlights in our history are shown below.

Working on public works and larger-scale projects, we have expanded our business into those for advanced facilities

[ 2014 to present ]

In Japan, our company handles larger scale of projects, including those for hospitals, logistics and production facilities. With the revision of the Act on Promoting Quality Assurance in Public Works, opportunities for involving in construction of public facilities has increased.
Outside Japan, we are working on larger scale of projects expanding business areas in Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam. Outside the ASEAN regions, we support a factory construction project in Europe.

2021 Commissioned to support ECI order placement for construction of a new Chiba municipal hospital.
Establishes Global Business Division.
Opens Plus PM Consultant Sdn. Bhd Vietnam Hanoi Office.
2020 Launches our official YouTube channel.
Commissioned to provide construction management services for Miyazaki Prefecture stadium development project.
Receives the CM Award 2020 from the Construction Management Association of Japan.
Recognized as Japan's best company of the year for hospital CM performance (surveyed by Tokyo Shoko Research, Ltd. in 2019)
2019 Launches a factory construction project in Eastern Europe.
Receives the CM Award 2019 from the Construction Management Association of Japan.
2018 Commissioned to support order placement for construction of a new Miyazaki Prefectural Miyazaki Hospital.
Launches a large-scale hospital project in Vietnam.
Receives the CM Award 2018 from the Construction Management Association of Japan.
2017 Receives the order for a project for a large-scale logistics facility with an area of over 50,000 square meters.
Receives the order for the high-rise condominium project in Indonesia.
2015 Selected by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a support provider of the "Model Project for Various Bidding and Contracting Methods".

Expands our overseas business on a full scale and establishes our management methods for inside and outside of Japan.

[ 2004 to 2013 ]

Our company received the order of the project for the first overseas shopping mall in Cambodia and acquired a great deal of know-how from the experience of managing overseas general contractors. In 2013, a local subsidiary in Malaysia was established.
In Japan, we received orders mainly for hospital and shopping mall construction projects, and acquired advanced management methods.

2013 Establishes Plus PM Consultant Sdn.Bhd., a local subsidiary in Malaysia.
Receives the CM Award 2013 from the Construction Management Association of Japan
2012 Receives the order for our first project in ASEAN region (AEON shopping center in Cambodia).
2009 Receives the order for our first project in ASEAN region (AEON shopping center in Cambodia).
2007 Receives the order for the project for a large shopping mall AEON MALL Kahoku.

Starts construction management business.

[ 1996 to 2003 ]

In the process of working on planning and design since the start of the business, the founder realized the importance of cost management in construction projects and launched a construction management business from scratch with a single-minded determination. With an unwavering determination to change the business model, our company was renamed Plus PM Co., Ltd., and started to expand our business into Tokyo.

2003 Opens Tokyo Branch.
2002 Changes the company name to Plus PM Co., Ltd. (to specialize in PM/CM business).
1997 Starts construction management business.

Starts Business as a Design Office That Excels in Land Use Consulting Services.

[ 1986 to 1995 ]

The founder of our company started his business as a one-man business in a room of his own home in 1986 when he was in his late 20s. Amid the property tax hike, our company started receiving orders for planning and design services related to land utilization including tax planning. Subsequently, our company was commissioned to provide consulting and design services for nursing homes in line with the Ten-Year General Strategy for the Promotion of Health and Welfare for the Elderly (Gold Plan), which was announced by the government. Since then, our company had involved in approximately 100 projects in a decade.

1995 Starts design of and management consultation business for nursing homes.
1988 Establishes corporation and changes the company name to Plus Sogo Sekkei Co., Ltd.
1986 Starts business in Osaka as Plus Sogo Sekkei.
Starts offering proposals for land utilization for property tax strategies.
